Апелляционный суд (высший судебный орган Новой Зеландии; выносит окончательные решения по всем делам за исключением тех, кот. направляются на пересмотр в Высшую судейскую коллегию {Judicial Committee of the Privy Council}. Его функции – установление законности, устранение противоречий в решениях, принятых судами нижних инстанций, пересмотр дел по апелляциям из Высокого суда {High Court}. Состоит из главного судьи {the Chief Justice}, судьи Высокого суда в качестве президента, назначаемого генерал-губернатором, и 5 других судей Высокого суда, также назначаемых генерал-губернатором)
